Amber’s team traveled in all of Africa for the mineral business, mainly they were focusing on gold.

After a long journey they found that the best country for the gold business in Africa is Uganda, therefore Amber was established in Kampala, Uganda mainly for the gold business on 2023.

1- Gold Mining:

After registering Amber in the Ugandan government as one of the gold dealers’ companies; and due to the fast development, we achieved.

The ministry of minerals decided to give us the chance to be one of the mines owners because they could see our ability in bringing the best technology to run this mine.

The mine is 20 square kilometers and in the middle of the gold mining area. The government is expecting us to do a lot in this mine and they are also ready to give us more lands nearby once they see us running the mine and invest in it.

Few months after that deal with the government, we had another business relation with a nearby mine owner, it is a land of 8 square kilometers, the owners don’t want to be involved in mining, and therefore we signed a JV agreement with them to manage their mine. Therefore, Amber now is managing a total mine area of 28 square kilometers.

The plan is to start operating the mine by the middle of January 2026, the whole area of the 28 kilometers will be sage, will guarded, will build the necessary buildings for operating the work, and will be fully and well-equipped with the highest and newest technology in this field.

2- Gold (AU) Refinery:

Every single day, Uganda is receiving gold from the neighborhood, this gold should be handled in the correct way otherwise it will be a loss for the economy of Uganda.

The suppliers who bring these goods to Uganda, they bring the goods here with the hope that they can find a buyer who can pay all the expenses and taxes to ship the goods out of Uganda as the seller cannot afford it.

According to the law of Uganda, all the exported gold should be in the form of bullion not less than 99.9% purity, this means that all the gold in Uganda, local or imported or even smuggled, to be exported legally it should be via one of the registered refineries which can provide the service of changing the purity of the gold into 99.99%.

Therefore, Amber decided to establish and build a professional gold refinery with all the equipment needed for smelting, refining, and testing gold with the capacity reaches to 1000 kilos a day that gives the purity of 99.99% hallmarks bars.

This refinery will be receiving the goods not only from our mine, but also it is opened for all the customers who would like to use our facilities, name, experience, and speed to receive their consignments and assist them to make it ready for shipping out of the country.

3- Security Warehouse for gold:

In Uganda, there are many warehouses to store gold and other precious metals, however most of them are not reliable and even some of them are scammers and they may steal the goods.

We need a secure place for our goods coming from the mine, and most of our suppliers they ask us about the security warehouse company we deal with in order to bring their goods there. We do not trust any of the warehouses that is why we have to tell the supplier that we only have our place Amber’s office to receive. Most of suppliers prefer a third-party security company to store their goods with.

Therefore, Amber established a joint venture agreement for this warehouse with the government NEC security department inside Amber’s area which makes our customers very comfortable that their goods are stored and being guarded by the Uganda military not only a normal security guard.
